Our Business

CivicLink Solutions, LLC is a U.S.-based software company that builds communication tools for the public-infrastructure construction industry. Our flagship product, CrewCast, is a web platform that connects road and utility contractors, the residents and businesses affected by their work, and the government agencies that oversee that work.

What CrewCast Does

CrewCast helps construction crews keep the public informed about active and upcoming projects in their neighborhoods. Contractors use CrewCast to:

• Map project boundaries, work zones, and street closures
• Post real-time progress updates with photos
• Answer questions from residents and city officials
• Notify followers of schedule changes, detours, and delays
• Publish work-zone data feeds (WZDx) for navigation apps and DOT systems

Residents and government agencies follow projects that affect them and receive updates as the work progresses.

Push Notification Program

CrewCast keeps residents and project followers informed with opt-in browser push notifications about construction work that affects them — no phone number or text messaging required. Notifications are used solely to deliver project updates; we do not send marketing or promotional messages.

What notifications we send

• Project status updates posted by the contractor (e.g., "Paving will begin Monday at 7 AM on Elm St")
• Schedule changes, detours, and delay notifications for projects the user follows

How users opt in

Creating a CrewCast account does not enable push notifications. Notifications begin only after the user takes a separate, affirmative action: enabling "Browser push notifications for project updates" in Account Settings and granting their browser's notification permission. Users can turn notifications off at any time from the same setting.
