Our Business

CivicLink Solutions, LLC is a U.S.-based software company that builds communication tools for the public-infrastructure construction industry. Our flagship product, CrewCast, is a web platform that connects road and utility contractors, the residents and businesses affected by their work, and the government agencies that oversee that work.

What CrewCast Does

CrewCast helps construction crews keep the public informed about active and upcoming projects in their neighborhoods. Contractors use CrewCast to:

• Map project boundaries, work zones, and street closures
• Post real-time progress updates with photos
• Answer questions from residents and city officials
• Notify followers of schedule changes, detours, and delays
• Publish work-zone data feeds (WZDx) for navigation apps and DOT systems

Residents and government agencies follow projects that affect them and receive updates as the work progresses.

SMS Notification Program

CrewCast operates an opt-in SMS notification program so residents and project followers can receive timely text-message alerts about construction work that affects them. The SMS program is operated by CivicLink Solutions, LLC and is used solely to deliver project-update notifications — we do not send marketing or promotional messages.

What messages we send

• Project status updates posted by the contractor (e.g., "Paving will begin Monday at 7 AM on Elm St")
• Schedule changes, detours, and delay notifications for projects the user follows
• Replies to keyword commands such as HELP and STOP

How users opt in

Users opt in by creating a CrewCast account, following a specific project, and checking the box labeled "Also send me text message (SMS) notifications when updates are posted". The full opt-in flow is documented on our SMS Consent page.

Required disclosures

• Message frequency: Varies based on project activity.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Opt out: Reply STOP to any CrewCast message, or disable SMS in Account Settings.
