CrewCast Terms and Conditions

CivicLink Solutions, LLC — Effective Date: 3/27/2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the CrewCast platform ("Platform") operated by CivicLink Solutions, LLC ("CivicLink," "we," "our," or "us").

By accessing or using CrewCast, users—including government agencies, contractors, and residents—agree to these Terms.

2. Description of Services

CrewCast is a communication platform designed to provide:

  • Real-time updates related to public infrastructure projects
  • Notifications regarding roadwork, closures, and project timelines
  • Public access to project information via web, mobile, SMS, or QR code
  • Messaging capabilities between stakeholders (where enabled)

CrewCast is intended to improve transparency and communication but does not control or perform the underlying construction work.

3. User Roles

The Platform may be used by:

  • Government Agencies – to manage and oversee projects
  • Contractors – to provide project updates
  • Residents / Public Users – to view and receive project information

Each user agrees to use the Platform only for its intended purpose.

4. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information
  • Use the Platform for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Platform
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data

CivicLink reserves the right to restrict or terminate access for violations.

5. Accuracy of Information

CrewCast provides information submitted by contractors and agencies in real time.

While CivicLink makes reasonable efforts to ensure reliability:

  • Information may be delayed, incomplete, or subject to change
  • CrewCast does not guarantee accuracy or completeness of all updates

Users should not rely solely on CrewCast for safety-critical decisions.

6. SMS and Notifications

By opting in to notifications:

  • Users consent to receive SMS/text and/or push notifications
  • Message frequency varies based on project activity
  • Users may opt out at any time by following provided instructions (e.g., replying "STOP")

Standard messaging and data rates may apply.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the CrewCast platform—including software, design, branding, and content—are owned by CivicLink Solutions, LLC.

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Platform for its intended purpose.

8. Data and Privacy

Use of CrewCast is subject to the CrewCast Privacy Policy, including SMS-specific policies.

Users acknowledge that:

  • Data may be shared with the relevant government agency managing the project
  • Certain data may be subject to public records laws

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • CivicLink shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • CivicLink is not responsible for actions taken based on Platform information
  • Total liability shall not exceed fees paid (if applicable)

CrewCast is provided on a commercially reasonable efforts basis.

10. Third-Party Services

CrewCast may rely on third-party services, including:

  • SMS delivery providers
  • Mapping services
  • Translation services

CivicLink is not responsible for failures or interruptions caused by these third-party services.

11. Availability of Service

CivicLink aims to provide reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted access.

The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Maintenance
  • Technical issues
  • External service disruptions

12. Termination of Use

CivicLink may suspend or terminate access to the Platform for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Misuse of the Platform
  • Legal or regulatory requirements

13. Government Use and Public Records

CrewCast is used by public agencies and may be subject to:

  • Public records laws
  • Transparency requirements

Users acknowledge that communications and data may be disclosed as required by law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, unless otherwise required by applicable government procurement rules.

15. Changes to Terms

CivicLink may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
