Please expect delays as roads will be periodically closed throughout the day. A cone in your driveway indicates that fresh oil is present. If you require assistance while a cone is in place, please speak with a Flagger or contact the Traffic Control Supervisor. Material typically dries in 30 minutes but may take up to 2 hours to fully cure; therefore, please avoid driving or turning around on it. Turn off irrigation systems on scheduled dates and keep them off for 24 hours after work is completed. Notify any lawn care, cleaning, or contractor services about the work. All vehicles must be removed from the roadway; any vehicles left during construction will be towed. No overnight parking is allowed after your road is completed. To prevent damage, avoid turning your wheels while stationary on fresh material. Crews will begin work around 7:30 a.m., starting in cul-de-sacs and moving to main streets, finishing around 6:00 p.m. Traffic coordinators will be present to help direct vehicles and answer questions. Donelson Construction will begin road resurfacing work for the City of Waxahachie PLEASE NOTE: THE EXACT ORDER OF OPERATIONS MAY CHANGE DAILY DUE TO WEATHER AND ON-SITE CONDITIONS. Due to weather, we will be postponing this project until the week of June 1st and should be completed June 5th.

We have completed the blue and green zones. Due to the forecasted weather for next week, we will not be able to work on the remaining two zones until conditions improve. Our plan is to return from May 26th to May 29th to complete the remaining roads. The purple zone will be addressed during the day, while the red zone will be worked on during overnight hours. Please stay tuned for further updates, as we will provide new information here. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope for improved weather so we can resume work on this project soon.

Due to an unexpected delay, we will not be able to complete the Sycamore project this evening. We will return first thing tomorrow to finish the road. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
We will finish work on Sycamore this afternoon and evening. We have completed two of the green zones and will work on the last one, The River Oaks subdivision, tomorrow. Additionally, we plan to start in the purple zone tomorrow. Please remove any vehicles from the roadway to facilitate a swift completion of the streets.
