Springfield, MO PressurePave Project
Springfield, MO
Please expect delays as roads will be periodically closed throughout the day. A cone in your driveway indicates that fresh oil is present. If you require assistance while a cone is in place, please speak with a Flagger or contact the Traffic Control Supervisor. Material typically dries in 30 minutes but may take up to 2 hours to fully cure; therefore, please avoid driving or turning around on it. Turn off irrigation systems on scheduled dates and keep them off for 24 hours after work is completed. Notify any lawn care, cleaning, or contractor services about the work. All vehicles must be removed from the roadway; any vehicles left during construction will be towed. No overnight parking is allowed after your road is completed. To prevent damage, avoid turning your wheels while stationary on fresh material. Crews will begin work around 7:30 a.m., starting in cul-de-sacs and moving to main streets, finishing around 6:00 p.m. Traffic coordinators will be present to help direct vehicles and answer questions. Please move basketball goals off the street or curb. Josie McFall, Traffic Control Supervisor 417-536-3799 M-F 8 AM - 5 PM

Updates
We will be unable to finish the red zone today. Today we will complete only Calhoun, from Benton to Clay. We will return on Monday to complete the remainder of the red zone.
We hope to complete the red zone tomorrow and begin resurfacing in the green zone on Monday, starting with cul-de-sac roads.
Due to the rain forecast for today, we will not be resurfacing. Crew members will be on site performing grass removal and posting in the green zone.
We completed Blaine, Locust, and Hampton today.
Resurfacing will begin on Washington, Summit, pacific and Clay tomorrow morning. If those streets are not completed tomorrow, we will finish the remaining work Thursday if weather permits; if it rains, completion will occur Friday. If weather permits on Thursday, we will begin resurfacing Lynn, Calhoun, Webster, and Texas; if it rains, that work will be moved to Friday.
Resurfacing will begin this morning. Crews will prepare the streets and then start work on Blaine, Locust, and Hampton. Please remove all vehicles from these streets so we can complete the work. Expect delays and road closures; make alternate arrangements and be patient as we work to finish as quickly as possible.
