Expect delays as roads will be periodically closed throughout the day. An orange cone in your driveway means work is scheduled; once moved to the center, it indicates fresh oil is present. Material typically dries in 30 minutes but may take up to 2 hours to fully cure—please avoid driving or turning around on it. Turn off irrigation systems on scheduled dates and keep them off for 24 hours after work is complete. Notify any lawn care, cleaning, or contractor services about the work. All vehicles must be removed from the roadway; any left during construction will be towed. No overnight parking is allowed after your road is completed. Avoid turning your wheels while stationary on fresh material to prevent damage. Crews will begin work around 7:30 a.m., starting in cul-de-sacs and moving to main streets, finishing around 6:00 p.m. Traffic coordinators will be present to help direct vehicles and answer questions. Please move basketball goals off the street or curb.

Donelson Construction will begin road resurfacing work for the City of Republic Friday August 28th and return to finish August 31st. Updates
Resurfacing of FR 174 and Brooks St. will take place today. Crews have begun prep work and sign placement and will begin resurfacing shortly. Please remove all vehicles from the roadway so crews can complete the work as quickly as possible.
We have completed all roads scheduled for today. We will return Monday morning to complete the final two roads: Brooks St. and FR 174.
We plan to start—and hopefully finish—resurfacing on Fountain/Valley View, Kimberly, Grace, and Primrose today. Please remove all vehicles from the roadway so we can complete work on these roads as quickly as possible.
