CrewCast SMS Opt-In

Where this opt-in appears in the app

  1. A user creates a free CrewCast account at https://crewcastapp.com/register and provides their mobile phone number.
  2. The user navigates to a project details page (for example, /projects/<id>) and clicks the "Follow Project" button.
  3. The dialog shown below appears. The user must actively check the SMS notification box to receive text messages. Without checking the box, the user receives in-app notifications only and no SMS is ever sent.
  4. The user clicks "Follow Project" to confirm. SMS notifications begin only after this confirmation.
